How to Stay Productive All Day

Hey there,

This is one post I totally wish I had when I first started out because I definitely am not the most motivated person you’ll ever meet! HA HA. However, If you’re working from home or even just working in general I have came up with a list of ideas you can use in order to stay productive no matter how hard it may be for some of us ( mostly ME ) LOL!  Let’s be serious for a minute we all think people who work from home just sit and watch Netflix all day. Well, I’m here to break that myth… I’ll share how I stay productive are you ready??

Okay so let’s go back to the basics I typically try and get a full 8 hours of sleep and I’m not sure about you but breakfast is my all time favorite part of the day. I use a balanced breakfast in order to get my bright eyed self ready to take on the rest of my day and shortly after I have breakfast I have to have my daily soda otherwise I would be a tad bit cranky! and none of you would like me! LOL

Next, I take some time to scroll through my personal profiles and even business social media accounts. I call this my “Me” time. I also use this time to check emails that I might’ve missed last night before going to bed. I then go through the house and open the windows and put on my favorite pandora station.

I then create clearly defined tasks and often ask myself ” Okay, What needs done today? ”  and if I’m in the middle of something I ask myself what needs to done in order to finish that specific project. Sometimes, If it helps … you can create an hourly schedule that way you set goals for yourself by the hour this one is tough for me but try not to multi-task until you’re completely finished.

When it comes to checking emails throughout the day I set check-in times (because I turn off all the notifications, Of course to keep from being distracted.. ) That doesn’t sound like me at all! LOL. If you’re like me I tend to get off on a tangent or some other task and forget what I was doing ! so this helps me stay on track. TIP: Try not to leave the windows on them open all day that tends to lead to more distractions*

Sometimes at work you get a 15 minute break or so.. I tend to take breaks myself throughout the day to give  my mind a break and my eyes from straining because of the computer for 8 hours a day. I typically use my breaks to go on 15 minute walks to keep me from going stir crazy!! It happens more than you think.

One of the other strong points of staying on task is that you have to hold yourself accountable do not stop until its finished. This is why setting goals for yourself is important ( be realistic ) with your goals too! that helps. TIP: I often find myself in a creative block.. when that happens I switch up my scenery and sit in a different spot of the office or house.*

If you do work in an office thats separate from your house (an office job, retail, etc. ) Don’t bring it home. When you’re at home thats your relax time.. that helps when you do get back into the office or wherever you work bring a fresh mindset on the day ahead. TIP: be self aware recognize what keeps you going and what gets you off track.*

The biggest part of what keeps me on track while working day to day is ” WHY” . This is why you started, why you’re passionate about this specific job. This is my motivation and my reason as to why this career chose me. My passion is photography, not only that but being a great source for education, resources, and tips and tricks to help others expand and their business as I did mine. It’s not easy it took me about 8 years to get where I am but if I can help you reach your goal in 7 years I’ll be pretty proud ! This is why I’m here. please feel free to email me any topics in specific you wish to learn or help your business grow or anything that may make every day life a little easier! My inbox is always open to anyone, Looking forward to learning more about you and how I can help.

Thanks for reading,
