CENTRAL ILLINOIS SUNSET RUSTIC FARM | FAMILY MINI SESSION

We ultimately were just going to do a couples session, then it turned into us and my brothers, and ended with a session of 8 people.

Early this April we gained a couple more brothers and a sister, then not soon after did we get a niece as well. My mom had made the decision to add 2 little boys and a teen girl, with a baby on the way, to our already big family.

She saw the environment they were in and took the step to become a foster parent for them. So for that we wanted to thank her by getting her a Christmas gift of ALL her “babies.” So this is a Thank you to her.

It is impossible to put into words everything WE appreciate about her. From who she is as a person, to the person she has raised us to be and to the person who decided to help raise 3 more, everything about her is amazing.

Thank you for never giving up–on your babies, on your foster babies, and even your in law baby ❤️ From day one you have been all of ours support system and our biggest fan.

Thank you for teaching us that there is a little sunshine in everything. Thank you for showing us the kind of mother and teacher we all aspire to be. Thank you for not killing us when you have came home to a dirty kitchen and 10 loads of laundry.

Thank you for all, the subtle, ways you’ve let us know that you love us.

I will always remember the quote made by Leigh Anne Tuohy, “Families don’t have to match. You don’t have to look like someone else to love them.”

Thanks to Aimee Novy Photography for spending her Sunday afternoon with all 8 of us!
