Molly + Joseph | Engaged

Hello there, please take some time to meet Molly + Joseph

One of our newest happily engaged couples.. while I was sitting here typing all of this up I was reading her answers she posted to the questions I had sent a while ago.. I am so incredibly out of breath it’s not even funny I have been laughing so hard at her responses and I have to say it hurt for me to keep reading them. after laughing to the point I was almost shedding tears, I have finally stopped laughing long enough to get this posted.  Lets just say Molly has a sense of humor (:

Okay here we go,

I always like a good how did you meet and how long have the two love birds been together story,  honestly this helps introduce themselves think of it like an ice breaker situation.. people are often nervous infant of a camera especially when there are 2 photographers shooting at different directions and sometimes we may be a little too close for comfort so these questions help us get to know our couples better.

So we asked Molly + Joseph some questions to help us prepare for their engagement session.

How did you meet? And how long have you dated? We met in 2010 at Target where we both worked. We were both dating other people at the time. After we left Target, we kind of lost touch. I went away to college and one day out of the blue he texted me. We were both single at the time so we started talking, and the rest is history! We have been together for almost 3 years.

Where was your first date? What did you do? I’m not sure that we really had a ‘first date’. I invited him to a bonfire at my house with a couple other friends. All I remember from it is that we sat on the same bale of straw ha!

How did he propose? We went to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana for a short camping trip. He hates camping, but agreed to go because it would just be us. We were out hiking and I noticed an area up a steep hill where you could tell water drained down the hill when it rains a lot. It was off the main path so I said we should check it out. Once we got to the top there was a beautiful view. I sat down on a rock after a while and asked if he was ready to go. He hurried up and knelt down in front of me. Neither one of us remembers what he said because we were in shock, but I do know that he asked me to marry him and that I said yes!

What are your favorite things to do together? We love to travel. Any excuse for a weekend trip, we jump on it. No matter what we’re doing, we always enjoy each other’s company.

Any funny stories about yourselves? Every day we spend together is usually a funny story.

Okay molly now I’m sorry but I do have to share this .. Now hopefully your landlord isn’t on Facebook! lol

Do you have any pets? If yes, what are their names? We do! 2 cats (don’t tell our landlord). Their names are Chuck and Ted, and we’re a little obsessed with them.

Now if your landlord is on Facebook lets just hope they don’t mind because cats are cute!! they are my absolute favorite.. and they can’t tell cats with their cute little pouty face no.. I mean who can? I know I can’t say no to our 3 cats.

This is my favorite part of the questionnaire.. we get to know why our couples are a perfect match for one another and what brought them together.

Question for the GROOM: What things do you love the most about her? What I love most about Molly is her seemingly endless supply of patience towards my silliness. I behave more like a child than an adult and she takes it all in humorous stride. She’s the first person I’ve ever dated where I truly understand what it means to be dating your best friend. I’ve always heard people say it, but I myself had never really experienced it.

Question for the BRIDE: What things do you love the most about him? His sense of humor. He always makes me laugh. We never have a dull moment. No matter what we’re doing, we always have fun together. I also love his ability to stay open-minded. He’s always willing to try something. He’s also one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met, so he’s going to be the one helping our children with their homework lol.

Im always so glad when my clients surprise me with a cute little message..

Anything else you want me to know? We had a great time at our session with you!

Thanks Molly + Joseph we really enjoyed photographing moments of your life in which you’ll get to treasure for a lifetime.. We can’t wait for the BIG day, We are honored you chose us to help you capture your happily ever after.
