they contacted me in search of the perfect christmas card photo for their first Christmas as husband and wife.

Sarah shared with us the importance of scheduling this impromptu photo session ,

“This year will be our sixth Christmas spent together and this year means so much more because we get to share it as a married couple for the first time.

We chose to do a mini session because it is our first Christmas together as a married couple and it’s a special moment in our life together.” – Sarah

One of the props used in this perfect holiday inspired session was this gorgeous Christmas tree ornament ! I just adore how crafty Sarah is (:

Sarah shared some of the symbolism behind this prop in particular and what it truly means to this amazing couple !

“One of the props we made and brought with us to the session was our “First Christmas as Mr. & Mrs. Nickerson” ornament.

This particular prop means the most to us because it marks and symbolizes our first Christmas together as one another’s spouse.

We both cannot wait to spend our first Christmas together because now that we are newly weds we get to enjoy a whole bunch of “firsts” together all over again — but this time as a married couple! ” – Sarah
